Having attended two years in a row, I can also say that it is exhausting, but in a positive, exhilarating way. <br /><br />My first year attending the conference was in 2007 and I&#39;m the first to admit that I found it very intimidating. Linda Watanabe McFerrin is correct in suggesting attendees, &quot;park your shrinking violet at the door.&quot; <br /><br />Book Passage has an amazing array of accessible faculty. It is up to the student to seize the networking opportunities and run with them. <br /><br />I&#39;m grateful for the contacts I have made in the travel writing world at Book Passage.
